About the Young Financial Leaders Program
WSC Young Financial Leaders are high school or college students with a strong interest in finance, investing, and/or business and want to learn more about these subjects while ensuring that their communities also understand the important role of finance, investing, and business in creating generational community wealth. WSC Ambassadors are integral members of the WSC community receiving intimate exposure to program directors and senior leadership.
WSC Young Financial Leaders will develop their leadership capabilities, gain real management experience, and expand their networks through the following activities:
Leading new student outreach, enrollment, and initiatives
Serve as an informal role model, advocate, and peer mentor to existing and prospective students
Represent WSC at fairs, school visits, informational programs, and engagements with civic and business leaders
Participate in a tailored curriculum that includes leadership development, financial literacy, and field trips to local financial institutions
Help ideate, plan, and execute special programming and activities
